Verification

Every seller on Kupros is verified in person. Not just on paper.

Buyers on this platform wire real money to counterparties they have never met, in jurisdictions where recourse is not guaranteed. Verification is what makes that possible. Four stages, from document submission to physical site inspection.

Stage 01Document Submission

Companies submit their Certificate of Incorporation, export license (sellers), authorized signatory passport or government ID, proof of operating address dated within 3 months, and a bank confirmation letter on official letterhead. Every document is reviewed manually. Not OCR-scanned, not auto-approved.

Buyer
  1. Certificate of Incorporation
  2. Signatory passport or government ID
  3. Proof of address (dated within 3 months)
  4. Bank confirmation letter

Submission takes ~20 minutes. Review typically within 1 to 2 business days.

Tier 1 access: browse the marketplace, view listings, read-only.

Stage 02Video Call & Facility Walkthrough

A live video call to confirm identities and walk through your facility. We confirm the people match the documents, verify the company is operational, and walk through the business: what you trade, who you trade with, how shipments move. Then an in-person or video walkthrough of the production facility, warehouse, or stockyard to confirm the operation is real.

Stage 03Approved: Full Marketplace Access

All stages complete. The company's VERIFIED badge is activated on their profile. Sellers can publish listings. Buyers can submit inquiries and enter deal rooms. The verification is not permanent. Companies are subject to periodic re-verification and any material change in operations triggers a review.

What this means for buyers

Every counterparty you see on Kupros has been through all three stages: document review, live video call and site inspection, and final approval. The VERIFIED badge is not a self-attestation and not an automated checkmark. It means a human being on the Kupros compliance desk has seen the facility, confirmed the documents, and signed off. If a supplier does not pass, they do not appear on the marketplace. By design.
